Personal Profile
I am a practising Reflexologist with 37 year’s experience and I have been a member of the Association of Reflexologists (Member No. 403) since 22nd May 1989.
I first came across Reflexology in the early nineteen seventies when I was living in India studying yoga and meditation. During that time I developed severe sinusitis and I had the good fortune to meet an American practitioner of Reflexology. After just one treatment the sinusitis cleared up never to return to this day.
This sparked my interest in this wonderful therapy and I decided to look into it further. For the following years up until 1987, I practised as an amateur on family and friends.
In 1987 I undertook a professional practitioner training course at the Churchill Centre at Marble Arch London. I was extremely fortunate at the time to have as my teacher a lady who was trained by Doreen Bayley, the British pioneer of Reflexology in the sixties.
During the late eighties up until 1990 my Reflexology work was carried out in the farming community of Mid Wales. In 1990 I moved to London and have been associated with the Helios Healthy Living Centre since 1992. During this time my practice has been at the Helios.
I occasionally visit clients in their home and from time to time I do hospital visits. |
